Wood burner supply
Stoves supplied to suit the room and the flue — sized properly on output rather than guessed at, and covered by one warranty with the install.
Stove & chimney specialists
Wood burners, multi-fuel stoves, chimney lining and twin wall flue systems — installed by one tradesman, start to finish. Same person surveys the job, does the work, and hands you the certificate at the end.
What we do
Supply, installation and the building work that goes with it. One trade on site, from knocking the opening out to lighting it for the first time.
Stoves supplied to suit the room and the flue — sized properly on output rather than guessed at, and covered by one warranty with the install.
Chimney liners and twin wall systems fitted, insulated and sealed, whether there's an existing chimney to work with or nothing at all.
Every installation signed off and certified, with the notice plate fitted. That's the paperwork your insurer and any future buyer will ask for.
Small or blocked openings widened to take a burner — lintels, beams, brickwork and all the building work that comes with it.
Slate, granite, stone and concrete hearths supplied and laid to the correct size and clearances for the appliance going on them.
Chambers lined in brick slips or fireboard for a clean, square finish that stands up to the heat and looks right in the room.
Anti-downdraught cowls, bird guards and rain caps fitted to the pot and made weathertight.
Most jobs are a mix of the above. Send a photo of the fireplace and you'll get a straight answer on what's involved.

You'll know what's happening, who's turning up and what it costs before anything gets knocked out.
A look at the chimney, the room and the ventilation, then a written quote with the appliance and materials listed.
Dust sheets down, opening formed or hearth laid, and any building work completed before the appliance arrives.
Liner or flue fitted, stove set, sealed and smoke tested, then lit and run up to temperature with you there.
Certificate issued, notice plate fixed by the meter, site cleared, and a quick run through how to run it well.

What customers say
Jake came to fit out new liner and woodburner that they recommended for us. Wow, what an amazing job he didy you can really see through his work how he takes so much pride in what he does, we are thrilled and cannot recommend him enough. Thankyou (:
Yasmin, BridportCallum and Jake fitted our log burner with minimal fuss and excellent proffesionalism. They were friendly, punctual and took extreme caution. Two fine gentlemen who stayed later than we had expected to ensure the job was completed to a very high standard. We will be recommending Jobson's Fire and Chimney to anyone and everyone!
Ryan, SwyreEarlier this year Callum came and swept 2 of our chimneys. Recently Jake came and removed and refitted a new fire insert. On both occasions the work was undertaken in a very professional manner and with great care. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recomending their services to anyone and long may they continue doing their excellent work.
